Calvin has been hunting his entire life in his home province of Alberta Canada.

The buck he took this year is his biggest date and he sat over 40 times for this buck in bow season and rifle season.

Calvin hunted the buck on private land near agricultural crops. The big buck would not come out till just after shooting light, offering Calvin no shot from his heated pop up blind. One evening, clouds rolled in and the light dwindled earlier than normal. That is all it took to get this Calvin lost no time and settling the cross hairs on the buck and putting him down for good.
