Absolutely. So I have a teammate right a co-founder of Rooted Outdoors his name is Dave Ashworth. Also located in our region of the state. Known Dave for probably four or five years, we’ve shared many stories about hunting and just recently over the last two years have found that we have a passion for filming our hunts, filming the entire experience and also a common our faith in Christ which is huge for both of us and we got together about a year and a half ago and started to create the vision for Rooted Outdoors even though that’s still unfolding at this point. We developed a brand and a logo and really our focus is really just to bring the entire hunting experience to the public and the best way we possibly can to create the best example for our youth hunters and everyone out there and just do things the right way. But really is to just create and capture that whole experience to allow the public to feel like they’re part of the entire journey of…if it ends up in the harvest of a whitetail then that’s great if it doesn’t we want you to see what goes into the whole entire process. So really just bringing all our experiences to the public and also the Gospel. Cory Bauman is deeply Rooted Outdoors
really our focus is really just to bring the entire hunting experience to the public
Yeah, sure. I think, look, like you said there’s so many different tools and resources that you can use to put your stuff out there. We want to create good quality so we’re already looking on upgrading our equipment for this year compared to even what we had last year just through meeting different folks at shows and the one thing about the outdoor community is it’s been very, very supportive of every question that we’ve had, whether it’s I sent somebody a Facebook message they’ve responded, and it’s a really, really cool community to be a part of. Everybody’s so supportive.
So I think for us again, it’s creating quality film but creating the entire experience which a lot of times you’re watching a hunting show and there might be a quick intro, “We’re in Pennsylvania the temperature is this, it’s raining,” and then they cut to being in the stand and then you might get a couple of shots of the deer being killed and then a couple of shots later and we really our goal is to film, we film everything.
So we film when we go in and we’re checking control cameras or we’re going to be putting food plots in here in probably a couple of weeks we want to film everything so that we can go back once we hopefully that chance to harvest the deer that we’ve been following for two years that we want to be able to go back and have film available so that we can show them the entire process.
so that we can show them the entire process.
We’re still working on how we’re going to put that together and get it out there. We want to make sure that that’s the way it’s going to be best presented. We’re also looking to not really grow this huge Pro Staff team I should say, but we’re looking to not have a huge Pro Staff but really be patient with who we bring on our team and make sure they’re the right fit and they have the same vision.
