Whitetail Passion – Joey Yusko

Joey Yusko – who has a burning passion 365 days a year for deer and turkey hunting, was born and raised in the low country of South Carolina. He currently resides in a little town called Sandridge, SC.

Joey gives all of the credit to understanding the outdoors to his late father, Joe Sr., who started taking him hunting at a very young age and teaching him the ways of nature. Joey has been hunting whitetails since the age of 5 with his dad.

Joey was raised dog hunting whitetails. As Joey became older, he knew that he wanted to get closer to the animal that he loved so he went out on his own and started to still hunt.

Bow hunting is Joey’s passion when it comes to whitetails. The closer he got to them the more he got to learn from them.

Joey had been bow hunting whitetails since 1995. Joey harvested his first whitetail – a doe, at the age of 9 while dog hunting along the Edisto River.

He is on the Pro-staff for a deer scent company called Windproof and pro-staff for the new outdoor show called “Keystone Wild Outdoors” which premiers December 31, 2016 at 8:00PM. http://www.keystonewildoutdoors.com/
