I’ve been hunting since the age of 11. My pops got me into it as soon as I could pass the hunter’s Ed course and I never looked back. I initially began as a rifle hunter on the islands in St Charles, MO. It’s been a great experience and it really is a different way to hunt. I started bowhunting by the age of 20
I started bowhunting by the age of 20 and it has become an obsession, or for better words, a deep passion. I love the comradery my father and I get during those hunting months. I have recently gotten to experience taking my 8-year-old son along and its spawned this new passion which is to video my hunts. Perry Wayne Cowling of Archers Pursuit – Live the moment forever
Which has lead me and a few buddies into starting Archer’s Pursuit. We have all dreamed and talked about the what if’s as I’m sure most passionate hunters do. I would love to share this passion with the podcast. Why it’s important to get kids involved, why I think videoing your hunts is a must, how island hunting can be challenging, but rewarding. As hunters we all share a common bond and the growth for the outdoors is what truly matters. I want to pass this passion onto my two boys, so I would do anything to help the outdoor community.

My vision is that Archer’s Pursuit isn’t just to post the videos only. It’s to capture everybody’s pursuit. I am more thrilled to see my dad post a picture of these big bucks on his camera. I’m more envious of other hunters that are capturing all these moments on the mountains. I hope that it can lead to everybody capturing that pursuit, not just the harvest. And I’m hoping that we can start this platform and we can share with everybody.

Because to me, camaraderie is number one in hunting and that’s what drew me into it. Seeing my dad and my uncles, growing up with everybody around. It was like just one big family, not matter if we just met you that year or not. And that was the pursuit. Seeing them set the stands. Seeing them set the food plots. Seeing them set the target practice and I’m just standing there, waiting for my turn. That’s my end goal is to set up a YouTube channel this year, keep the social medias going, and just share. And hope everybody eventually will jump in and start sharing with us.
