I began hunting at 5, when I first took my 6 point basket buck. Special Edition Kaylee Jade Jackson Extreme Huntress VOTE! For many years I have had the privileged of taking many more deer and with doing so I decided to take my National Grand slam. I have the ability to take exotics as well, waterfowl, small game and game birds.
My mentor, my grandfather was the best teacher in the world teaching me how to call, and how to do everything possible for woman to be able to hunt. I received my archery instructor two years ago as well as long range shooting 15 years ago. Special Edition Kaylee Jade Jackson Extreme Huntress VOTE!
Kaylee Jade Jackson, I am 54 years old. I have been hunting since I was 5 when I killed my first deer a small 6 pointer. But I did fish from before I can remember according to my Mother and my Grandfather when he was alive. And he was the one that brought me up hunting and fishing. As I said the first little 6 pointer was at 5 and he was shot with a 44 Ruger magnum rifle. Many folks would say that is to young, but not all children have the same mindset. I had many days of practice with the gun, and could break it down and put it together as quick as any Marine in boot camp. Special Edition Kaylee Jade Jackson Extreme Huntress VOTE!
As I grew older I hunted more and more animals, at 7 I was calling waterfowl both ducks and geese. There was nothing in the state of MS that was allowable to hunt that I didn’t hunt. I held the state crappie record for several years with a 3.3 pound slab crappie and the MS record for a Japanese Carp caught on the MS side of the MS river. I also was a deputy sheriff for 22 years and retired after breaking my back in 2000. At the time my late husband was extremely sick as well and I stopped hunting for several years in the time span of 2000-2007 until his death. At that time I moved to MD where my Mom and Brother had moved many years before, and then with the passing of my brother and a severe motorcycle wreck, I decided it was time to live again so in 2007, I went back to hunting. I hunted the Eastern Shore for Sitka, and killed my first one in 2007 and many many geese over there. And the same year I moved to PA married again, and continued on this journey. I have began. I worked for several outdoor companies such as CamoSpace with over 65,000 members and I was the administrator over it. It taught me a lot about people that I never would have even imagined. I went on from there to MitchSmithOutdoors where I was over all social media relations. That same year I went to the White River Basin with a friend of mine to kill my first elk, and I also killed my first massive rack deer which was an 8 point. I also killed my first bear that year weighing in at 384 pounds, and killed it with a bow, in PA> The next year I began my own companies which was KayleesOutdoors and CatchTheMadness radio show. And I have never looked back nor kept reaching for bigger adventures, and having under taken the goal of a Grand Slam I have several more things to hunt and accomplish. Through filming to radio, to small game to large I love the outdoors and what it brings to me through the adventures. Special Edition Kaylee Jade Jackson Extreme Huntress VOTE!
