Let me give you a little background. Sound Barrier, a new company, you might not have heard about it, about us. But it really started with a problem that I have that really, a lot of or all hunters really do have, and that is that we make noise. And it’s really hard to avoid it, even if we’re being very careful. Adam Lewis creates a Sound Barrier

There’s so many products out there. And I’m talking big game in general, not just whitetail deer. We’re kind of focusing on whitetail deer. But really, big game hunters in general, we focus on getting past the game…their eyes, so we have camouflage and we need to do that. Adam Lewis creates a Sound Barrier

We have all that stuff, we have a lot of camouflage out there. We have to get past the sense of smell, which is very sensitive, so we have all this [inaudible 00:05:02] stuff we use, the Ozone and all that, and it’s great when you do that. But the third sense we really had to get past is hearing, and there’s really not a lot of emphasis on that, even though it’s crucial that we do that. Adam Lewis creates a Sound Barrier

And so, that’s what Sound Barrier’s about, helping hunters get past game and their sense of hearing so we can be successful. And there’s a lot of ways we can do that through tips and different things that we offer, but now, we’re products. And so, our first products are really focused on the equipment noise problem. We have a lot of equipment nowadays and it’s really great and it helps us, but there are a lot of opportunities to clang-blang clunk it, and just make noise. Adam Lewis creates a Sound Barrier

Whether we be putting up stands or just walking through the woods to our hunting spot or taking things down. All these little noises, little or big, really affect our hunting area. They bust hunts. They really educate deer or the game we’re hunting, and really hurt our chances of success. Even just one.

And so, our first product helps eliminate the noisy equipment problem that a lot of us face. It’s called Buck Bumper. Actually, there’s two versions of it; Buck Bumper and Buck Bumper Thick. And Buck Bumper, what it is is a thin, sound-observant (?) wrap. People might call it a tape, but it’s more than that. It’s got a sound-absorbent quality to it, tapes that you can buy [inaudible 00:06:33] do not have. And it makes what we call a “bumper” for a reason. It makes a bumper or a sound barrier for equipment. For example, let’s say you have a bow hanger.

It’s called Buck Bumper. Actually, there’s two versions of it; Buck Bumper and Buck Bumper Thick. And Buck Bumper,

It’s metal, it’s hollow. You clang it, it’s going to send noise a long ways. So you can actually encase this and wrap the whole thing in Buck Bumper and decrease noise, by our testing, over 70%. So it can really eliminate those potential mistakes you can make at the wrong time when you’re hunting or even setting up and all that stuff. It can really soundproof things to help out with the noise problem.

The other one, Buck Bumper Thick, is the same idea. It’s just obviously thicker. And that’s more for some of our large equipment where we have a lot of contact points. It might be metal on metal. For example, tree stands, when you fold them up, there’s always metal on metal contact. And I always have problems…when I’m putting them up and taking them down, it’s a very awkward situation.

And there’s always a good chance you’re going to be clanging that somehow.

So Buck Bumper Thick allows you to soundproof those contact points so you can be silent. And it’s crucial to do that when you’re going into a spot and…you found this great new spot, and you want to go in there and be able to put up your set silently so the first time you hunt it, you haven’t already screwed it up. And give yourself a better chance at sealing the deal.

So there’s similar products, but they really help in a new way…hunters really gain a new advantage and hopefully gain more success through that.
