Keystone Wild Outdoors Matt Pitzer

I grew up and live in south western Pennsylvania about an hour southeast of Pittsburgh. Pennsylvania has a great hunting heritage but due to my family business of heating/air conditioning and heating oil delivery, I didn’t start hunting until after high school.
My hunting career was started by not wanting to be left behind by my friends. My hunting career was started by not wanting to be left behind by my friends. Who went to camp every weekend once fall came. Jono was my friend who got me into hunting. His family has a hunting camp outside of Punxsutawney where I learned to hunt. Without him, his brother and father I wouldn’t have the passion I do for the outdoors.
I am extremely grateful for what they did for me as I can’t even imagine my life without hunting. I pretty much spend all year either scouting, prepping, or hunting whitetails.
I am thankful to have a wonderful wife who also enjoys hunting, which is something I look forward to passing on to my sons – Tanner, who is almost 4, and Colten, who is 19 months old now.
If I had to choose 3 things that I am passionate about – I would have to say that hunting is number one, time spent with friends and family and bow-hunting and scouting for deer.
I love to bow hunt. That is my favorite thing to do. If you ask my wife it has become an obsession of mine. Honestly, if you ask her, hunting in general has become an obsession for me lol.
This summer I was blessed with several opportunities to represent companies in the hunting industry as a part of their field staff team. It has been an awesome experience for me because it has allowed me to meet people that I probably never would have had an opportunity to meet.
Mr. Steve Rocco of Keystone Wild Outdoors is one of those people and the reason why I have the honor of being on your show. Steve is in the same field staff team that I am. I wanted to meet him because of the work that he does with the Rut N Buck Hunt Club. I saw that he lived only 20 minutes away from me. It was then I saw that Keystone Wild Outdoors was looking for field staff members. I applied, was accepted and have been promoted to their pro staff team. I can’t wait for the show to start so that we can share our passion for hunting with everyone and continue to educate and promote hunting.
